 Chief Executive Officer Hugh R. Frater Corporate Headquarters Horsham, PA Hugh Frater is the chief executive officer of Berkadia and a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Berkadia, he was the chief operating officer, managing director and senior advisor at Good Energies, Inc., a multibillion euro global private investor in renewable energy. Previously, Mr. Frater was executive vice president at PNC Financial Services, where he led the real estate division. Mr. Frater was a founding partner and managing director of BlackRock, Inc., the largest publicly traded investment manager. Earlier in his career Mr. Frater was a vice president at Lehman Brothers, where he worked in the Mortgage Finance and Financial Institutions departments. He has an MBA from the Columbia Business School at Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. |  President and Chief Financial Officer Randall Jenson Corporate Headquarters Horsham, PA Randall Jenson is president, chief financial officer and a member of the Executive Committee. In this role he is responsible for the finance, accounting, treasury, process improvement and risk divisions as well as mergers and acquisitions and general management. Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Jenson spent nine years with Ranch Capital, LLC as co-founder and president. Ranch identified the investment in Berkadia and introduced it to Leucadia and Berkshire. While at Ranch he also worked as interim chief financial officer of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Hawaiian Airlines, a Ranch Capital portfolio company, and currently serves on the board of directors for Hawaiian Holdings, and several private companies. Prior to joining Ranch, he held various positions at Leucadia National Corporation, including business development and president and CEO of Banking and Lending Operations for more than five years. Mr. Jenson is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Utah and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. |  Executive Vice President, Head of Loan Production Karl Reinlein St. Louis, MO Karl Reinlein is an executive vice president and head of production. In this role he is responsible for the oversight of Berkadia’s origination network. He is also a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Reinlein has more than 35 years of commercial and single-family residential lending experience. Prior to joining GMAC Commercial Mortgage in 1997, he was co-chief executive officer of Patriot Mortgage Company, a single-family residential lender with a multi-state branch operation. Mr. Reinlein has an MBA from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington University. He is a licensed Missouri Real Estate Broker. |  Executive Vice President, Head of Servicing Mark E. McCool Corporate Headquarters Horsham, PA Mark E. McCool is an executive vice president and member of the Executive Committee of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, one of the largest commercial real estate finance companies in the nation. Berkadia, a privately held company in which Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and Leucadia National Corporation each hold a 50 percent ownership interest, acquired the loan origination and servicing businesses of Capmark Financial Group Inc. in December 2009. Mr. McCool currently oversees all Servicing Operations as well as Strategic Initiatives with management responsibility of Asset & Portfolio Management, Servicing Administration, Offshore Administration, BPO Administration, Strategic Initiatives and Banking for a $225 billion portfolio. Mr. McCool joined GMAC Commercial Mortgage in January 1998 as Vice President of Negotiated Transactions where he was responsible for the valuation of servicing rights and the negotiation of structured finance and servicing agreements. Prior to this position, he served from 1987 as a manager in various capacities for GMAC Financial Services and has more than 18 years experience in the commercial real estate business. He actively participates in various industry trade groups, task forces and committees, is a former Co-Chairman of the Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer Advisory Council and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Berkadia’s wholly owned India subsidiary, Berkadia Services India Pvt. Ltd. Mr. McCool holds a B.S. from the University of Scranton.
|  Chief Operating Officer Linda Pickles Corporate Headquarters Horsham, PA Linda Pickles is chief operating officer and a member of the Executive Committee. As chief operating officer, she is responsible for Berkadia’s human resources, facilities management, communications and information technology. Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Pickles was executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Capmark Financial Group Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation. |  Executive Vice President, General Counsel Thomas Miraglia Corporate Headquarters Horsham, PA Thomas Miraglia is a 12-year veteran of Berkadia and its predecessor companies. He currently serves as executive vice president, general counsel, and is the member of the Executive Committee ultimately responsible for all of Berkadia’s legal and compliance issues. Mr. Miraglia sets the organization’s legal agenda, identifies and addresses critical issues for the company, and anticipates and proactively plans for contingent risks that may impact the enterprise in the future. When collaborating with his colleagues to create solutions that further the company’s goals, Mr. Miraglia’s legal advice is informed by a pragmatic business sense borne of first hand experience. He has been on the leading edge of high profile issues in the industry throughout his career, including guiding the $563 million World Trade Center securitization to a complete payoff, and leading the company and the industry through the aftermath of several terrorism insurance controversies. Consistent with Berkadia’s unwavering commitment to core values, Mr. Miraglia works closely with senior management to set and adhere to the highest standards of integrity, ethics and behavior. Prior to joining GMAC Commercial Mortgage in 1999, Mr. Miraglia practiced in the real estate department of Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll in Philadelphia, Pa. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and a law degree from the Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia. Mr. Miraglia is a frequent speaker on legal and business panels involving commercial mortgage servicing and securitization.
