Frank Brown is a Senior Director for Berkadia Affordable Housing and has been involved in affordable housing finance since 2000.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Frank was a Director with Citi Community Capital where he closed over $600 million of affordable housing debt and equity transactions involving Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other proprietary lending/investing programs. During that time, he was responsible for Citi’s CRA lending and investing activities in Texas. Frank’s over 15 years of experience in the industry also includes serving as Vice President in the Affordable Housing Group at Capmark/GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Berkadia’s predecessor company, where he was involved in originating, underwriting, and closing over $700 million in affordable construction and permanent loans, tax exempt bond credit enhancements, and private placements. He started his career as a loan underwriter in the Affordable Housing Division of ARCS Commercial Mortgage.
