Berkadia Negotiates Manufactured Housing Community Sale in Huntsville, Alabama
HUNTSVILLE, AL – July 17, 2024 – Berkadia announced today the sale of Merrimac Manor, a 174-site manufactured housing community in Huntsville, Alabama. Managing Directors Kevan Enger and Ian Hilpl, Senior Director Brian Hummell, and Director Hunter LaRocca of Berkadia Manufactured Housing led the transaction on behalf of the seller, Pioneer Communities.
“This was a very competitive process as groups are increasingly more focused on stabilized assets in strong markets,” said Enger.
Located at 4509 Triana Blvd SW the property is located in Alabama’s most populous city, known as the “Space Capital of America.” Merrimac Manor was built in 2000 and features 174 sites on 19.24 acres. The property was 93 percent occupied at the time of the sale.
