Angela Folkers serves as a Director and is part of Berkadia Jupiter and Minneapolis Mortgage Banking. She specializes in FHA/HUD lending providing clients with multifamily and healthcare financing solutions.
Angela’s HUD expertise dates back to 2004 when she began a career in FHA underwriting. Her wealth of HUD experience brings a unique approach to loan originations, as her first-hand knowledge lends valuable insights and expedites the FHA loan process from engagement to closing. She specializes in both market rate and affordable transactions. Angela has developed and maintains strong relationships with HUD offices across the country.
Prior to joining Berkadia, she served as the Chief Underwriter at Love Funding for nearly six years overseeing both multifamily and healthcare underwriting. Angela’s vast knowledge of HUD’s standards, rules and regulations has assisted clients in closing over $1 billion in loan volume.
She is also actively involved within the industry, currently serving as the 2nd Vice President of the Southeastern Mortgagee Advisory Council and a past Vice President of the Healthcare Mortgagee Advisory Council.
