Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Senior Director Jackie Meagher. Jackie sits in our Boston office and is a member of the mortgage banking platform.
With 14 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry in Boston, Jackie’s career path has been diverse, holding various roles as an analyst and associate at different firms, gaining knowledge in lending, loan workouts, acquisitions, and brokerage. Nearly seven years ago, she began focusing on multifamily finance and brokerage, a role she loves as it allows her to apply her diverse skills in a client-centric, people-oriented capacity.
Jackie joined Berkadia 18 months ago from JLL, attracted by the company’s people-first culture, women-led team, and multifamily focus. During her initial discussions with Berkadia, she met several members of leadership and people from the Boston office, all of whom clearly loved working for Berkadia. As a multifamily specialist, the firm offered her GSE financing capabilities, access to unmatched data from their servicing book, and a platform centered around her product type.
“I am passionate about being the go-to person for clients or friends seeking guidance or strategizing next steps for an asset. Despite the challenging financing markets over the past two years, I have enjoyed helping clients with asset management decisions,” says Meagher.

What sets Jackie apart in the industry is her unique perspective, having started her career as a CRE lending analyst and then spending several years on a multifamily acquisition team before becoming a mortgage banker. Her previous roles have allowed her to relate to both her clients and lenders, providing a well-rounded view of every transaction.
