Sam Van Dyke is an Associate Director with Berkadia Cleveland Mortgage Banking. He joined Berkadia in 2020 and is responsible for providing debt and equity solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. He focuses on delivering extraordinary value to clients from origination to post-closing and communicating effectively along every step of the way. While Sam has a strong background in multifamily Agency financing, he also has helped place debt on industrial, retail, self-storage, office, and mixed-use properties through a wide network of capital partners.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Sam spent two years at Red Capital Group supporting the origination and underwriting efforts of Fannie Mae and FHA/HUD debt for conventional and affordable properties. He holds a B.A. in Finance Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and The Greater Cleveland Mortgage Bankers Association (GCMBA).
