Berkadia Arranges $65M Loan for Bridge Investment Group’s Acquisition of Northern Virginia Multifamily Community
Woodbridge, Virginia – December 15, 2025 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announces that it has arranged a $65 million loan for Bridge Investment Group’s purchase of Misty Ridge, a 409-unit multifamily community located in Woodbridge, Virginia – approximately 30 minutes south of Washington D.C.
Senior Managing Directors Mitch Sinberg of Berkadia Boca Raton and Chris Ellis of Berkadia Denver, along with Managing Directors Matt Robbins, Scott Wadler and Brad Williamson of Berkadia Boca Raton and Miami, secured the five-year, fixed-rate Freddie Mac loan. The deal closed on December 10.
“As the D.C. metro continues to expand southward, renovated and well-amenitized communities like Misty Ridge are outperforming,” said Williamson. “Bridge Investment Group recognized the strength of this submarket early, and this loan will support their plans to enhance an asset that resonates with today’s renters.”
Built in 1989, Misty Ridge is located at 1989 Delaware Drive, near Jefferson Davis Highway. The community consists of 152 one-bedroom and 257 two-bedroom newly renovated units ranging from 664 to 885 square feet. Apartment amenities include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and kitchen islands; vinyl plank flooring or hardwood floors; large closets, washer/dryer hook ups, and patios. The pet-friendly community amenities include a fitness center with spin bikes, clubhouse, coffee bar, business center, swimming pool, grilling station, fire pit and dog park.
The property is located approximately 30 minutes south of Washington D.C., with convenient access to U.S. Route 1, Interstate 95, as well as several mass transit options providing connectivity to regional employers. The community is surrounded by nature preserves including Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge on the Potomac River and Leesylvania State Park.
