Matt Straughan joined Berkadia in January 2026 as a Senior Director of Investment Sales in the Richmond, Virginia Office.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Matt worked at Northmarq as a part of their Mid-Atlantic Multifamily Investment Sales team in Southern Virginia. Matt focused on the disposition and capitalization of multifamily assets and land throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Matt was involved in nearly $1 billion in investment sales and joint-venture equity placements over the last 5 years.
Matt earned a B.S. from Bridgewater College, and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University.
