Berkadia Secures $200M in Financing for a Single-Family Rental Credit Facility for McKinley Homes
Atlanta, Georgia – June 23, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today the recent financing of a mid-sized build-to-rent (BTR) Credit Facility, a revolving single-family rental (SFR) facility with newly built one- to four- unit single-family rental homes. Berkadia Single-Family Rental and Build-to-Rent (SFR/BTR) leaders Senior Director Mackinley Robinson and Managing Director Joel Kirstein alongside Structured Capital Group Senior Director Matthew Tu secured the acquisition financing through a global money center bank on behalf of McKinley Homes, a Southeast regional Home Builder with headquarters in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
The facility was committed at close and structured with a three-year initial revolving term and two one-year extension options. The financing features competitive institutional-grade pricing and was underwritten up to 80% loan-to-cost. The facility is non-recourse.
