Berkadia Arranges $47 Million Loan for 1900 Parmer Apartments in Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, Texas (Jan. 29, 2026) — Berkadia announces that it has arranged a $47 million loan to refinance the existing construction loan and repatriate sponsor equity on 1900 Parmer Apartments, a newly built, 364-unit Class A midrise apartment community located in the Austin, Texas Tech Ridge neighborhood.

Senior Managing Director Mitch Sinberg, Managing Directors Scott Wadler, Brad Williamson and Matt Robbins, and Vice President Patrick Johnson of Berkadia Miami arranged the financing on behalf of the sponsor, Griffin Capital of El Segundo, California.

MF1 Capital provided the loan. The property was 98% leased at the time of closing.

“Berkadia was able to structure a flexible financing solution that aligned with the sponsors’ business plan and positioned the asset for long-term success,” said Williamson. “Completed in 2024, the property is currently stabilized and positioned to benefit from improving market conditions in North Austin.”

Located at 1900 E. Parmer Lane, the community offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 458 to 1,270 square feet. Apartment interiors feature thoughtfully designed living spaces with stainless steel appliances, polished quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, wood-style plank flooring in living areas, porcelain tile bathroom floors, and in-home washer and dryer, nine-foot ceilings, and private balconies or patios with French doors.
