Irvine, California – December 17, 2025 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Managing Director Mike Canori to its Affordable Housing platform. Canori will be based in Irvine, California and report to EVP and Head of Affordable Housing, David Leopold. He began his role on December 15.
Canori specializes in the valuation and disposition of Section 42, Section 8, and mixed income multifamily assets throughout the United States. He has experience in all facets of affordable housing including federal and state regulatory agencies, HUD, financial analysis, and focuses on establishing relationships with the affordable housing community on a national level.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Canori was an Executive Vice President with CBRE Affordable Housing and participated in the disposition of $7.8 billion in real estate value.
Canori holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Washington – Michael G. Foster School of Business.
