Berkadia Completes Sale and Secures Financing for Multifamily Property in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina – 23, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today the sale and financing of MQH Apartments, a 92-unit multifamily community in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Senior Managing Director Caleb Troop, Director Thomas Colaiezzi, and Associate Directors Matt Robertson and Drew Kwiatkowski of Berkadia Charlotte led the sale on behalf of the seller, New York-based Mesos Capital LLC.
Director Adam Erickson of Berkadia Charlotte secured acquisition financing on behalf of the buyer, who is a private owner based out of Ohio. The deal closed on September 18.
“Fuquay-Varina stands out to investors because it offers exposure to the Triangle’s growth story without some of the supply pressure seen elsewhere in the market,” Robertson said. “We received interest from a broad range of buyers who recognized that Fuquay-Varina has remained relatively insulated from new apartment deliveries. While other parts of the Triangle are still absorbing supply, properties here have continued to show stable, dependable operations with low levels of concessions.”
Located at 100-600 Quail Hill Street, MQH Apartments comprises two adjacent communities, Quail Hill and Manchester, built in 1996 and 1998, respectively. Spanning 10 two-story buildings on 11.37 acres, the property offers two-bedroom apartments with one or two bathrooms, ranging from 850 to 1,200 square feet.
