Berkadia Adds Managing Director to Investment Sales Platform
CLEVELAND, OH – July 17, 2024 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Managing Director Rob Starrett who will be based out of Cleveland, Ohio. Starrett will report to SVP – Co-Head of Investment Sales and Production Operations Mike Miner.

Starrett brings over fifteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has a wide range of experiences in a variety of asset types, including institutional Class A new construction, value-add, and affordable housing, both on the brokerage and principal side of the business. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed over $3 billion in dispositions, financing, and equity transactions.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Starrett co-founded and served as Senior Vice President & Principal at BWE Investment Sales, an affiliate of Bellwether Enterprise, a top 10 mortgage broker in the country that specializes in larger commercial real estate transactions. He completed over $1.5 billion in various investment sales transactions in 13 different states in the first two years at BWE. On the principal side, Rob was the Director of Transactions and Finance for Mid-America Management and spent time early in his career working for the NRP Group, one of the nation’s premier multifamily real estate companies.
Starrett received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
