Berkadia Arranges Sale of Class A, Waterfront Apartment Community in Bradenton-Sarasota Metro Area
Bradenton, Florida – August 11, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announces that it arranged the sale of ShoreView Waterfront Apartments, a 216-unit Class A waterfront multifamily community located in downtown Bradenton, Florida.
Senior Managing Director Matt Mitchell and Director Chris Burtner of Berkadia Florida arranged the sale on behalf of Chicago-based Pearlmark, which acquired the property through a mezzanine lender foreclosure before broadly marketing the asset for sale. The Cedarwood Companies of Fairlawn, Ohio acquired the property for an undisclosed amount.
Downtown Bradenton, which overlooks the Manatee River, has benefited from an increase in development and commercial activity over the past several years, making it a popular destination for renters seeking a live-work-play environment.
