Berkadia Secures Financing for Seniors Housing Communities in Massachusetts
Houston, Texas – August 25, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today two separate refinancings for two Class A seniors housing communities—The Residence at Charles Meadow and The Residences at Natick South—located in Boston’s MetroWest region. Each community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Managing Directors Austin Sacco and Garrett Sacco, and Assistant Vice President – Originations Alec Rosenfeld of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare, secured bridge financing through a regional bank on behalf of the borrower, Harrison Street Asset Management, a leading global alternative investment management firm. LCB Senior Living will continue serving as operator for both communities.
The three-year loan features a market leading interest rate, among other attractive loan economics.
The Residence at Charles Meadow includes 105 units: 14 independent living, 65 assisted living, and 26 memory care units.
The Residence at Natick South is positioned along the Route 135 corridor. The community includes 86 units: 10 independent living, 52 assisted living, and 24 memory care units.
Both communities draw from an affluent, stable senior demographic characterized by long-tenured homeowners and strong demand from adult children employed at nearby employment centers.
