Austin, Texas – September 11, 2025 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today the sale of Village on the Park Onion Creek, a 124-unit independent and assisted living community located in the thriving suburbs of Austin, Texas.
Managing Directors Cody Tremper, Mike Garbers, Ross Sanders, and Dave Fasano of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare closed the sale transaction on behalf of Bridgewood Property Company, a Houston-based developer, owner, and operator and the original developer of the community. Bridgewood’s wholly owned management company, The Aspenwood Company, will continue managing the property for its new owner, a publicly traded REIT.
Village on the Park Onion Creek is located in South Austin, an undersupplied seniors housing market with minimal supply growth over the past five years and no units currently in development. The community boasts consistently strong occupancy. In addition to its 102 independent and assisted living units, the property also features 22 highly sought-after independent living cottage units.
