Caleb Troop serves as a Senior Managing Director out of the Berkadia Charlotte, NC office. He has experience across a broad spectrum of asset disposition work, from institutional Class A new construction properties to private client and affordable housing brokerage efforts. Caleb also advises both landowners and multifamily developers throughout the development process, from the early stages of site identification to contract negotiation and entitlement work.
Prior to joining Berkadia in 2022, Caleb helped lead Capstone Apartment Partners’ Carolinas office and was one of the firm’s top two producers in 2019, 2020 and 2021. A CoStar Power Broker award winner, he has led or been meaningfully involved in more than $5 billion in multifamily brokerage over the last decade. Prior to joining the Capstone team in 2016, Caleb spent several years inside Wells Fargo’s East Coast headquarters in Charlotte.
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, he enjoys playing golf, vacationing with his wife and 2 children on Kiawah Island and attending New City Church.
