Dave Weymer is a Managing Director for Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality with responsibility for Investment Sales and Advisory.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Weymer served as Managing Principal and General Counsel for Noble Investment Group from 2007 – 2012. While at Noble, Mr. Weymer led successful closings on over 30 acquisitions, financings and loan modifications aggregating more than $1.5 billion. From 1995 – 2007, Mr. Weymer was Managing Director and General Counsel at Thayer Lodging Group (now part of Brookfield), overseeing four discretionary equity vehicles, where he was responsible for securing approximately $1.8 billion in debt placements, closing $1.7 billion in acquisitions, and leading the successful sale of over $1.8 billion in assets. Mr. Weymer began his career as a real estate attorney for Piper & Marbury (now DLA Piper), where he practiced from 1987 to 1992, with an emphasis on national real estate finance and development transactions.
Mr. Weymer has a BA from Wake Forest University (Magna Cum Laude) and a JD from the University of Baltimore (Suma Cum Laude), where he graduated first in his class.
