Indu Arora is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in commercial lending, specializing in underwriting, portfolio management, and risk assessment for US-based firms. As the head of Credit Operations at Berkadia India, she leads a team of over 100 professionals, ensuring exceptional service delivery for Berkadia’s Underwriting groups across the GSEs, HUD, and Proprietary Lending Group.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Indu held key leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase in India where she led the Business Banking, Merchant Services and Model Governance teams. She successfully developed the India base for Business Banking underwriting, implemented compliance action plans, and drove strategic changes in lending guidelines. The model governance and automation team she led, developed standardized model health assessment dashboard across multiple lines of business.
At Genpact LLC, Indu excelled in credit research and analysis, underwriting diverse products such as corporate lending and aircraft financing.
She led high-impact projects and contributed significantly to business development and process improvement.
She holds an MBA in finance from WISDOM, Banasthali Vidyapith.
