Kaohu Berg-Hee is a Senior Director in Berkadia’s San Francisco, CA office where he provides advisory services for real estate investment sales, land sales, and joint venture equity capitalizations. Kaohu has been involved in the sale of over $3 billion in assets totaling more than 15,000 units including dispositions of core, core plus, value-add, mixed-use, and leasehold assets throughout Northern and Southern California. During his tenure, Kaohu has also capitalized or sold land for the ground-up development of more than 7,000 apartments, townhomes, and condominiums. He has also worked on complex transactions involving mixed-income assets financed with tax-exempt bonds and tax credits, as well as properties benefiting from welfare tax exemptions.
