Matthew Napoleon joined Berkadia in October 2017 as a Senior Managing Director. Matt has extensive knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and balance sheet lending programs. He is a specialist in the financing of affordable housing nationwide and multifamily and commercial properties in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. In his current role, Matt is responsible for originating affordable housing opportunities throughout the United States and providing affordable housing expertise to the Berkadia network in addition to growing the Berkadia Mortgage Banking and Investment Sales production in Ohio.
Prior to joining Berkadia, he was a Managing Director at Red Mortgage Capital for 15 years where he was responsible for providing and arranging debt for multifamily and affordable housing owners across the country.
