Paul E. Zikmund serves as the Chief Resiliency Officer at Berkadia. Based in Ambler, PA, Paul leverages his experiences building and managing risk, security, and compliance programs to support Berkadia’s ongoing commitment to strengthening enterprise risk management and business resiliency capabilities in response to the evolving risk landscape, increasing cyber and data privacy threats, and elevated regulatory and compliance risks.
Paul’s expanded role includes leading Berkadia’s Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Data Privacy, Information Security, Physical Security, Fraud Risk Management, ESG, and Business Continuity Management platforms and programs. This change underscores our ongoing dedication to ensuring robust business resiliency and comprehensive risk management across all facets of our operations.
Paul has close to 35 years of experience working with various Fortune 500 companies such as Tyco International, Dow Chemical, and Bunge. He also possesses experience working as a consultant helping companies better navigate the complexities of today’s business environment and safeguard their organization’s future as a point of differentiation that protects, supports, and enables more resilient business operations.
Paul possesses a Bachler of Science and an Accounting Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Accountancy from Auburn University, and a Master of Business Ethics and Compliance from the New England College of Finance. Paul also possesses Executive Chief Risk Officer, Chief Data Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and Chief Information Officer Certifications from Carnegie Mellon University.
