Irvine, California – August 26, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, is pleased to announce two new additions to Berkadia Strategic Capital: Senior Director Kellan Liem and Associate Allie Black. Based in Irvine, California, Liem and Black will report to Senior Managing Director and Head of Strategic Capital, Gordon Reynolds.
Liem and Black will serve as the West Coast-based partners of Berkadia Strategic Capital. Working in deep collaboration with the various business lines of Berkadia’s platform, Berkadia Strategic Capital is a national team dedicated to strategic advisory and equity placement across asset classes and strategies.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Liem and Black worked together at JLL Capital Markets, Americas, where they specialized in placing equity across Western & Central U.S. markets, including joint venture equity, co-GP capital, and full capital stack solutions.
