Berkadia Arranges Sale of Value-Add Multifamily Community in Orlando Metro Region
Orlando, FL – July 8, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announces that it arranged the sale of Birchwood Landings, a 184-unit garden-style multifamily community located in the Orlando metro suburb of Casselberry, Florida.
Senior Managing Director Cole Whitaker and Director Mary Beale of Berkadia Central & North Florida arranged the sale on behalf of National Property Management Associates (NPMA), of Buffalo, New York. The property was acquired by McKinley of Ann Arbor, Michigan in a transaction that closed on June 24.
“In 1999, I had the opportunity to sell Birchwood Landings to NPMA and 27 years later was able to represent them on the sale to McKinley,” said Whitaker. “This transaction proved to be a win-win outcome for both the buyer and seller, given the property’s proximity to other McKinley communities in the area. The property provides convenient access to key employment corridors, retail centers and educational institutions across Central Florida.”
Built in 1973 and located at 1485 Ash Circle, Birchwood Landings offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes.
