Anne Stephenson joined Berkadia in 2022 as a Vice President on the Affordable Mortgage Banking team. In this role, she is responsible for underwriting, structuring, and executing Affordable Housing transactions involving agency and bank construction and permanent financing. She has been financing commercial real estate, including Affordable Housing, since 2010.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Anne served as an VP-Affordable Underwriter with Citi Community Capital, where she specialized in Freddie Mac permanent loan conversions. Before Citi, she spent eight years in the Greater Boston area originating and managing a commercial real estate loan portfolio for regional banks.
Earlier in her career, Anne worked for more than five years at Boston-based State Street Corporation in the Structured Trust and Analytics Group, where she was responsible for the administration and compliance testing of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
