Brian Crivella is Senior Managing Director in the DC Metro office and leads Berkadia Institutional Solutions for the Mid-Atlantic region. Since 2015, he has been involved in over $8 billion in investment sales encompassing approximately 26,000 units. Further, the team has capitalized development transactions for over 8,000 units and nearly $3 billion of total project costs.
Prior to Berkadia, Brian co-headed JLL’s Investment Advisory and Equity Placement for Multifamily Capital Markets in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience and returned to JLL as part of the HFF acquisition. Brian joined HFF in July of 2011 and transitioned to co-head of the DC office’s multifamily investment advisory team in 2015. He focused on investment and equity advisory of multifamily properties in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Brian earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Richmond. He is actively involved in numerous industry organizations, including the National Multifamily Housing Council & Urban Land Institute. He is aligned with numerous charitable endeavors and currently serves on the special gifts committee and will be on the board of directors for the Arlington Free Clinic.
