Charles Rigoglioso is a Senior Director in the New York City and New Jersey offices. He has been a commercial real estate finance professional since 2012 and is primarily responsible for the origination and placement of both debt and structured finance transactions for all property types throughout the U.S. Throughout his career, Mr. Rigoglioso has utilized his prior lending experience to provide creative financing structures and capital placements for his clients. He has participated in originating, underwriting, and processing in excess of $10 billion of debt, equity, and mezzanine loan transactions.
Prior to joining Berkadia in April of 2018, Charles was Senior Multifamily Policy Analyst at the Federal Housing Financing Agency (FHFA), a Washington D.C. regulator of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Prior to FHFA, Mr. Rigoglioso was a director at Berkely Point Capital (now Newmark), specializing in debt and equity placements. The genesis of Mr. Rigoglioso’ real estate career started at Prudential (PGIM Real Estate), responsible for underwriting and closing structured real estate debt secured by commercial properties.
