Hank Workman is an Associate Director in Berkadia’s San Francisco, CA office specializing in originating multifamily debt. Since joining Berkadia in 2018, Hank has helped facilitate and close $2 billion of debt transactions across a wide variety of asset classes. His focus is to provide high level advisory services to clients with an emphasis on market rate and affordable housing multifamily transactions across the US.
Hank’s ability to understand the specific needs of his clients in relation to the transaction allows him to deliver solutions for their specific property and investment objectives. From ground-up construction and lease-up takeouts, to value-add bridge loans and stabilized refinances, Hank has financed every aspect of the real estate life cycle. He’s closed loans with the full complement of capital sources, including Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, FHA, Life Company, Debt Funds, CMBS lenders, and regional banks.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Workman graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, majoring in Finance. He was a four-year starter and two-time captain on the Varsity Men’s Tennis Team.
