Jerry H. Getant is a Director of Affordable Housing at Berkadia, based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, he is responsible for executing, structuring, and originating Affordable Housing transactions.
With nearly 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Jerry previously served as Director of Affordable Housing Lending at Greystone, overseeing the Affordable Loan Sales Desk and assisting with affordable loan requests. Before Greystone, he was responsible for nationwide loan originations at Walker & Dunlop’s Atlanta office, specializing in multifamily loans through various programs. Jerry also has experience with multiple affordable housing programs. Prior roles include assistant vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, financial analyst at TriMont Real Estate Advisors, and junior FHA underwriter at Arbor Commercial Mortgage. He began his career as a portfolio accountant at State Street Corporation.
Mr. Getant earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and an Executive MBA from the Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business.
