Scott Wilkie, a Managing Director located in Columbus, Ohio, plays a pivotal role at Berkadia by originating commercial loan opportunities both regionally and nationwide across various property types. Leveraging his extensive expertise, Scott specializes in life company financing, significantly enhancing Berkadia’s network capabilities. He is instrumental in expanding both Mortgage Banking and Investment Sales production within Ohio. Scott has extensive knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and balance sheet lending programs.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Scott was a Senior Investment Professional at Nationwide Insurance where he was responsible for originating commercial mortgage loans for Nationwide’s general account portfolio and for its third-party partners through a national network of correspondent mortgage bankers in select markets across the United States. Scott managed both the internal teams and external partners responsible for the origination and portfolio management of commercial mortgage loans and was directly responsible for the origination of over $3.7 billion of loans for Nationwide.
Scott actively contributes to his community and serves on the Advisory Board for the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana chapter.
