Cole Carns joined Berkadia in September 2022 as a Director of Investment Sales in the D.C. Metro office.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Cole worked for Capstone Apartment Partners in Virginia where he was involved in the marketing and sales of over $400 million worth of multifamily properties. Before Capstone, Cole worked for D.R. Horton where he helped run the firm’s southern Virginia land acquisition team. In this role, he was instrumental in expanding D.R. Horton’s footprint due to his local knowledge of the Virginia market.
Cole attended High Point University where he studied Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. While obtaining his degree, he earned his Virginia and North Carolina real estate licenses. Additionally, he was a member of the Division One lacrosse team and was also named to the Academic All-SoCon Conference team. In his spare time, Cole enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
