Michael Basinski serves as a Director in Berkadia’s Miami office, with extensive experience in Mortgage Banking and Structured Capital Markets advisory for institutional-grade commercial real estate transactions. He specializes in multifamily debt placement and highly structured mixed-use capitalizations. He has helped raise over $3 billion in capital from agencies, banks, debt funds, life companies, and private family offices. He began his career at Berkadia in 2019 as an Analyst, underwriting commercial real estate transactions. In 2021, he advanced to Senior Analyst, concentrating on transaction execution from origination to closing. By 2023, he was promoted to Vice President, where he focused on cultivating business relationships and overseeing the entire execution process.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Michael held associate positions at HFF and Related Group in Miami, Florida. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, FL. While at Northwood, Michael also earned All-American honors as the captain of the men’s golf team. Michael earned his Master of Business Administration specializing in Commercial Real Estate Finance from the University of Miami.
