Ed Williams is a Managing Director with Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare in Scottsdale, AZ where he is responsible for new loan originations for skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care and independent living through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA and Berkadia’s Proprietary Bridge Loan programs.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Williams was Chief Underwriter and Head of the HUD/FHA Lending Platform at Regions Bank where he built the platform from the ground up to becoming a top-tier HUD Healthcare Lender. Prior to that, Mr. Williams held roles as Co- Head of HUD Platform, FHA Chief Underwriter and Deputy Chief Underwriter with Walker & Dunlop and its predecessor Column Guaranteed/Credit Suisse. Mr. Williams began his career financing HUD-insured properties as a Real Estate Analyst/ Underwriter with AGM Financial Services. He has almost 20 years of experience and has underwritten and originated over $2 billiob in healthcare and multifamily loans.
Mr. Williams received his B.A. in Finance from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
