Eben Williams, a Senior Director in Berkadia’s Atlanta, GA office, joined Berkadia in 2019 as a HUD Originator focused on multifamily solutions. Due to his experience, he focuses on both affordable and market rate projects.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Eben was at Wells Fargo from 2011 to 2019, where he personally underwrote and closed over $1 billion of HUD and agency transactions across the United States. The transactions include market rate housing, both nine percent and four percent LIHTC housing, Project Based Section 8, Student Housing, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing Homes. As a Deputy Chief Underwriter at Wells Fargo Eben was also tasked with assisting Agency Producers in originating 221(d)4 loans. Eben has worked with HUD Offices across the country and is known for his ability to produce high-quality application packages and for his great working relationships with HUD staff.
Eben has led training sessions for internal staff, was a course instructor for an MBA education course on HUD underwriting and is a member of Southeast Mortgage Advisory Council (SMAC). He received his MBA from Florida Atlantic University in 2005. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters along with playing golf.
