Ian Shaw is a Director with Berkadia’s Atlanta Investment Sales platform. Ian joined Berkadia in 2018 as an underwriting analyst for the Fannie Mae underwriting team. After a year in that role, he transitioned to an analyst role with Berkadia’s Affordable Housing Investment Sales, helping the team grow their production and market share. In January 2021, Ian joined Atlanta Investment Sales as an Associate Director. Since joining the Atlanta team, Ian has been involved in nearly $4 billion worth of transactions totaling over 28,000 units.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Ian worked in Major League Baseball for 5 years, including time with the Yankees, Mets, and Mariners in various player development and scouting roles. During that time, he lived in Chicago, Florida, Arizona, and Seattle.
Ian was born and raised in Sandy Springs, GA. He graduated from Washington and Lee University where he was a starting pitcher on the varsity baseball team. Ian enjoys playing baseball/softball, spending time with family, traveling, and strolling the Beltline.
