Matt Schildwachter is a Managing Director at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage with 15 years of  mortgage banking and commercial real estate experience.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Matt was with Forum Real Estate Group, where he oversaw  financing for multifamily acquisitions and ground-up development. He also served as  Director at Johnson Capital, where his team led the firm in originations for 7 years, with over $4 billion in transactions, covering all asset classes and lender types. His specialties include ground-up multifamily development financing, agency lending, and structured life insurance company transactions.

Matt received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Alabama in  Communications.
