Natalie Hershey is an Associate Director with Berkadia DC Metro Mortgage Banking. Since joining Berkadia in 2022, Natalie has specialized in securing financing from a variety of capital providers, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, banks, life companies, debt funds, and other non-bank lenders. She has experience with acquisitions, refinances, bridge loans, and construction loans across multiple asset classes. Over her career, Natalie has participated in more than $3.2 billion of multifamily and commercial transactions throughout the United States. She is also a co-founder of Berkadia’s Rising Women in Production Group.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Natalie worked at JBG SMITH (NYSE: JBGS), where she supported debt transactions across multifamily, office, and retail asset classes in the Washington, D.C. metro area. She also worked on the Real Estate Banking team at Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) in DC, assisting in underwriting and originating commercial real estate debt transactions across mixed-use, industrial, office, and multifamily properties in the Mid-Atlantic.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Chinese (cum laude) from The College of William & Mary. She is actively involved in Washington, D.C. commercial real estate networking groups and was recognized as a 2024 Connect Media Top Mortgage Broker & Lender.
