Nick Nicholson is a Managing Director in Berkadia’s Washington, DC office. In this role, Nick is responsible for providing debt and equity solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. Nick specializes in FHA/HUD financing for market rate multifamily, affordable projects and healthcare facilities. Since joining Berkadia’s predecessor company in 2005, Nick has financed more than $2.5 billion for projects from California to Puerto Rico.
Previously, Nick was an Associate at Lehman Brothers, Alex Brown, and Bank of America where he focused on capital markets asset management for middle market institutional investors. Nick also served as a Managing Director at Cain Brothers, where he arranged debt and equity financing and M&A transactions for health care providers across the US.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A from Georgetown University. Nick resides in McLean, VA with his wife and four daughters.
