Chris Ellis is a Senior Managing Director of Mortgage Banking and the office leader for Berkadia Denver, CO. Chris has been in mortgage banking with Berkadia or predecessor companies since 2008, and he is experienced in all asset types with a concentration in multifamily.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Chris worked for Column Financial/Credit Suisse as a Senior Real Estate Analyst. Prior to Credit Suisse, Chris obtained his MBA after working as an electrical engineer for three years. In his career, Chris originated more than $10 billion in transaction volume. Chris excels in achieving highly competitive, tailored debt solutions for his clients.
Chris received his MBA from the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Villanova University. Chris grew up in Boulder, CO and now lives in Denver with his spouse, Jana, and two children. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys playing sports with his kids, exploring new places with his family, golf, pickleball, and cheering on the Denver professional sports teams.
