Austin Blankenship, an Associate Director in Berkadia’s Dallas office, joined Berkadia in 2012, focusing on debt and equity solutions for multifamily owner/operators throughout the United States. Mr. Blankenship is responsible for overseeing the loan process and due diligence through closing for deals as well as the preliminary analysis, underwriting and marketing of each transaction. He has worked on a variety of structures including portfolio transactions, preferred equity, and permanent and interim bridge financing. Throughout his commercial real estate finance career, Mr. Blankenship has underwritten and closed over $3.25 billion in transaction volume.
Mr. Blankenship holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Master of Real Estate from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
